Golden Beach General Information
Golden Beach is one of the most affluent towns in Miami-Dade County as well as the whole state of Florida. Located on the northeastern most corner of the county, this town shares borders with Broward County, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. With these kinds of places right by Golden Beach and the major cities of Miami and Fort Lauderdale are each less than a half hour drive for people who live in this beachfront town.
Even with this stellar location, the town’s wealthy nature and tiny physical size (it’s only about a mile long and a few blocks wide) keeps the population fairly small, and there are less than 1,000 people living there. Along with the aesthetics and relaxed atmosphere that’s so associated with small towns, the beaches in Golden Beach are extremely well kept and are far less packed than other public beaches in South Florida and the Treasure Coast. Golden Beach also has a few manmade islands that form small neighborhoods of homes laid out in an elongated oval where every home is situated right on the water.
Homes for sale in Golden Beach will cost much more than those found throughout the rest of Florida. Those that are on the lower end usually start with an asking price of around 1.5 to 2 million dollars. There really isn’t much of a standard limit on how much homes can cost in this town, though, although it’s not uncommon to see properties for sale that are well beyond $15 million. For the most part, you can expect to see that the houses in this town are priced around 4 million dollars.
