Coconut Creek General Information
Situated in the northeastern portion of Broward County, Florida, Coconut Creek is home to around 50,000 residents. For the most part, the properties available in this city are condos, townhomes and houses built for single family use. That being the case, the city is an exceptional place to call home without spending more on a place to live than you need to.
As Coconut Creek was incorporated in 1967, it is one of the newer cities in Florida, which has allowed for exceptional planning of the services and amenities throughout the neighborhoods. One particularly aspect of being a highly planned community is that it’s one of only a handful of cities that are a “Community Wildlife Habitat”. Even with that being the case, though, there’s no negative impact to its residents’ quality of life, and many would say quite the opposite is true. In fact, Coconut Creek was recognized by the magazine Money as one of the best small towns in the country. Schools in the city are operated by the Broward County Public Schools system, and includes traditional elementary, middle and high schools. Additional educational facilities include the Atlantic Technical High School, North Broward Prep School, Broward College and the Technological University of America.
Those looking to buy a home in Coconut Creek have more than a handful of properties to choose from that generally range from under $50,000 and go up into the millions. There are a number of communities in the city to explore and find homes for sale in, including Club Caribe, Wynmoor, Tradewinds and more.
